As any pet owner probably already knows, separation anxiety is a common occurrence between animals and their human companions. However, some pets may also get separation anxiety when their animal companions are away, such as this cat, Jasper, who clearly missed the family dog, Bow-Z, while he was away for 10 days.
While separation anxiety in dogs might be easier to observe, cats can also experience it when they are away from their human or their animal friends. Some signs of separation anxiety in cats include vocalizations when their loved ones leave, scratching, and chewing. They may also follow their human or animal companions around the house, and hide or sulk when they leave.
