If summertime had a villain, it would be the wasp. Aggressive, angry, greedy, and just plain old mean-looking, these horrible pests are the scourge of an otherwise bucolic afternoon in the backyard. According to this video, the one thing that wasps fear is, ironically, wasps themselves.
So, what to do if you do get stung by these black and yellow harbingers of pain? Healthline recommends that you wash the sting area with soap and water to try to get as much venom out as possible. Of course, some people are highly allergic to wasp stings, so keep an eye on it and seek medical attention if something looks afoul.
