This cobbler is so good you’ll be tempted to just eat it right out of the baking dish! Make sure to peel your peaches to prevent them from being too juicy when they bake, making the topping mushy.
- 2 cup fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup sugar, depending on sweetness of peaches
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup self-rising flour OR mix together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1/8 tsp.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350°.
Place peaches in greased 2 qt. baking dish.

Cream butter and 1 c. sugar together.
