One of the popular summer activities on the east coast of the United States is spending time at one of the many beaches up and down the coastline. Ocean City, Maryland is a favorite beach, but to get there, you have to cross “the scariest bridge in America.”
The Chesapeake Bay Bridge is over four miles long and rises 200 feet above the water at some points. While driving across this bridge it feels rather narrow and high winds can be incredibly dangerous on windy days. Some people drive the bridge every day on their way to work. Also, during summer traffic, you could be stuck on the bridge for hours.
