Police Investigating Sick Game That Encourages Children To Turn On Stoves To Become “Fire Fairies”

Russian police are investigating a sick game that tricks young children into turning on their stoves and burning themselves!

The twisted “game” promises to teach them “how to become a fire fairy.”

Police think the game mirrors a prank show on the animated TV series “Winx Club: School of Witches.”

In the home versions, little girls are told to sneak out of bed late at night, turn on the gas burners of their stoves, and repeat “magical words” to become “fire fairies.”

One little girl 5-year-old Sofia Ezhova tried to play the game and was severely burned after turning on her family’s gas stove.

Apparently, a social media post online instructed girls to do the following:

“At midnight when everybody is asleep, get up from your bed and go around the room three times, then say the magical words: “Alfey kingdom, sweet little fairies, give me the power, I’m asking you.”

“Then go to the kitchen silently, so no one notices you or the magic of the words will disappear. Switch on the gas stove, all four burners. But do not light it. You don’t want to get burns, do you?”

“Then go to sleep. The magic gas will come to you, you will breathe it while sleeping and in the morning, when you wake up, say: ‘Thank you Alfeya, I’ve become a fairy.’ And you will become a real fairy of fire.”

The investigators are extremely alarmed by the game after receiving numerous complaints from concerned parents.

“It could be some kind of ‘suicide game.’ We are searching for those who are spreading these messages,” said state investigator Irina Minina.

The Russian Investigative Committee thinks that the point of the game may be to scare parents.

One mom said this game nearly killed her entire family.

“I woke up in the night and felt the strong smell of gas. My daughter, seven, had just left the kitchen and went to her room,” the mother said. “It turned out that she had read on the Internet that to become the fairy of fire you need to go to the kitchen when everyone is asleep and switch on the gas oven.”

“If I had not gone to check, our family of eight would not wake up in the morning,” she added. “I talked to her and she promised not to hide her plans from me and tell me everything.”
