Mom Is In Huge Car Accident At 34 Weeks Pregnant, Has Emergency C-Section To Save ‘Miracle’ Baby

Mom-to-be Amy Wilson was 34 weeks pregnant when she got into a devastating car accident.

The crash tragically killed two teens in the other car and seriously injured Amy.

Amy woke up in the hospital with 15 broken bones and traumatic brain injury — and no memory of the crash. She was also no longer pregnant.

She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors determined that Amy needed to undergo an emergency C-section to save her baby’s life. According to Fox8, the baby girl was born prematurely, and without a heartbeat. Doctors predicted she would have some pretty serious brain damage — but she was alive.

Kyle Wilson, Amy’s husband, says doctors told him their baby likely would never be able to feed herself due to the brain trauma she experienced in the accident.

But six months later, baby Grace is doing better than anyone expected. Doctors are now calling her “a medical miracle.”

The death of the two teens in the other car is a tragic event that will live on in the hearts of the Wilson family. Amy, Kyle, and their older daughter Ruby are incredibly grateful to have their whole family together and recovering.
