Joanna and Chip Gaines of HGTV’s home renovation program Fixer Upper recently announced on Chip’s Instagram account that they’re expecting their fifth child!
Joanna, 39, and Chip, 43, showed off a bit of a baby bump in a photo posted with the announcement.
Chip wrote the following caption to his nearly 3 million followers: “Gaines party of 7… (If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT)”
Standing next to his wife in the photo, Chip (who is always one to crack a joke) hid something under his sweatshirt to show off his own baby bump as well.
With over a million likes and 60,000 replies of “congratulations,” it’s clear that the Fixer Upper audience is thrilled about this new addition to the family!
This announcement comes only months after the couple revealed that the current and fifth season of their HGTV show will be their last.
This fifth child will be joining the Gaines’ current children: Drake, 12; Ella, 11; Duke, 9; and Emmie Kay, 7.
