Twitter user Jesse McLaren was asked to take photos for his sister during her engagement party. She just wanted some pretty photos displaying her love for her fiance, but her brother couldn’t resist being mischievous. Jesse decided to do something different…he hid a photoshopped clown in each one.
What clown you ask? Well, none other than Pennywise the terrifying monster that terrifies children in Stephen King’s ‘It’, which had a well-received film adaptation back in September. You might not spot them at first, but if you take a look at these zoomed in photos you’ll be sure to see the clown pop up in the background.
He captions the photos: “My sister asked me to shoot her engagement pics so I hid Pennywise the Clown in every photo. Countdown until she notices”. There’s no word on whether she’s noticed yet, but the tweet has gone viral, with over 26,000 retweets already. Of course, there were plenty of responses to this particular prank:
