Decadent Pumpkin Spice Pie In A Mug Is Perfect For Cool Autumn Nights

Cook time: 6-8 minutes (less time at full power)
Serving: 1 serving

Ingredients :


  • 3/4 Cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 Cup heavy cream (or milk)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 Cup sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 1/4 Tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of ginger
  • A pinch of cloves
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 Tsp vanilla

Filling Options:

  • 2 Tbs chopped pecans
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • A pinch of cloves


  • Whipped Cream
  • Chopped Toffee
  • Melted Caramel

Directions :

1. Combine all the ingredients in a large mug. If your mug is too small, try two small mugs.

2. Turn the microwave power down to 50% power. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out pretty clean. You could also try doing it at full power for less time. If you do that, start with maybe 2 minutes and then try every 30 seconds until it’s done.


3. Cool in the refrigerator (or freezer) and top with whipped cream, toffee bits, and caramel.


Notes :

1. If you want a crust for your pie, moisten some graham cracker crumbs with some butter and press them into the bottom.

2. To cook more evenly, turn the power down about 50%. It took about 7 1/2 minutes. To check, insert a butter until it comes out pretty clean.
