Robert Downey’s Performance During A Sting Concert Is Jaw-Dropping

It was 2011 when Sting had a concert in New York for his 60th birthday celebration. Many friends were invited such as Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, and Robert Downey Jr. And it turned out that last guest ended up stealing the show! While many singer friends were present, it was Robert Downey Jr. who actually performed the most memorable number alongside Sting and the result is now going viral due to the impressive performance that the actor gave.

“Driven To Tears,” which was a 1980 track from The Police, was the song they performed and apparently Downey Jr. was more than a little bit nervous heading out on stage to stand right next to the powerhouse performer Sting, clearly not wanting to screw this up, yet knowing the odds were stacked against him as he’s not used to singing. After some brief air guitar to calm his nerves, Downey actually pulls it off, and does so in impressive fashion. A very good voice with a unique twist to it which actually matches Stings voice very well.
