Elizabeth was watching TV in the living room at her home in Gilbert, Arizona. The family dog heard someone at the door and started barking loudly, but Elizabeth didn’t think much of it.
The unsuspecting teen had no idea that her brother John had just walked through the front door with a very special guest.
Elizabeth and John’s brother, Shane Rader, is a soldier who was stationed in Italy for three long years. Elizabeth and Shane have been very close since they were little kids, and so the lengthy time apart was difficult for both of them.
Shane knew he was finally coming home, but he and John decided to keep the homecoming a secret from Elizabeth!
