We’ve all heard the common misconceptions about being a stay-at-home mom. They get to spend all day doing arts and crafts, eating snacks, and generally living the good life. And if the house is still a mess at the end of the day, we all know what comes next: “So, what did you do all day?” But the truth (as any stay-at-home mom knows) is that caring for tiny humans who haven’t quite learned to calmly and rationally communicate their needs all day is hard work! Yes, some days there’s time to remove juice stains from the carpet, but other days it’s all you can do to keep the kids happy and healthy … or, at a minimum, alive.

On those days, getting dressed falls pretty low on the priority list. After all, kids are messy and chances are you’ll end up with at least one possibly unidentifiable substance on your shirt.
