Mom Leaves Brilliant Note On Thermostat To Stop 3 Sons From Turning Up The Heat

Posted on October 1, 2018 by Sasha

As the weather gets colder, the indoor temperature drops, too. Soon, families will have their fireplaces going to warm up the cold winter nights, and wear layers upon layers — even to go to bed. It’s the coziest time of year!

But there’s no denying that it costs a pretty penny to keep the heat going. Gas and electric prices seem to get steeper every year, even if there are ways to reduce the cost of heating on a daily basis.

And if you live with a big family, you can understand the struggle of finding a temperature that suits everyone in the house. Some people will certainly be colder or warmer than others.

Autumn Brandon, a wife, and mother of three boys understand this dilemma perfectly. She often finds the heat blasted on high — even if there’s no reason for it!

So to combat the problem, the mom wrote a short and funny note that gets straight to the point.

Surely, her husband and three boys will understand her stance after answering three basic questions.

Autumn Brandon is a wife and mom to three boys. With all those people under the same roof, heating up the house in the winter time must be expensive.

To combat the high cost of heating, she came up with a clever note, which she attached to the thermostat.

It reads, “Unless you answer ‘yes’ to all of these… Do not turn on the heat!!!

Are you wearing a hoodie, pants, socks?

Is it November?

Do you pay the gas bill?”

Clearly, this mom is sending a message to her boys: you don’t know how much it is to pay such an expense!

Hopefully, this mom’s plan is working.
