Do you struggle to find the willpower to exercise? How is getting your laundry done as an incentive? There’s nothing like a lack of clean underwear to get you on your bike.
A stationary bicycle designed by students at China’s Dalian Nationalities University, called the BiWa, or Bike Washing Machine, is all you need!
The students who created BiWa, said the way it works is simple: “When you ride this bike, the pedaling motion causes the drum of the washing machine to rotate,” they write on Tuvie.
“At the same time, the extra electricity generated can be used to power the display screen or stored for future rides.”
At this time, there’s no information on if/when this invention will hit the market, so for now, you’ll have to continue to coordinate your spin cycle with your spin class.
