A Mother Had Taken Her Son To Dinner When She Was Handed A Note She’d Never Forget

PITTSBURGH — It’s stories like this one that can bring a smile to your face during the most difficult of times.

Melissa Roesch Sprouse posted on the Moon Connect Facebook page Wednesday evening that she was out to dinner at Outback with her mother and her son when she found out someone had paid for their meal.

It read:

Four years ago our sister and niece passed away and we chose to do something nice to honor their lives. Tonight we paid for your meals to celebrate them as they were a blessing to us while here on Earth, and brought us joy in their short time.

God Bless!

“I am so sorry for your loss,” Sprouse wrote on Facebook. “I can’t imagine the pain and what a nice way to remember and celebrate them.”

Sprouse went on to thank the anonymous family for reminding her that there are good people in the world.

“I don’t necessarily have an easy or perfect life, but it could be so much worse and I appreciate everything I have: a roof over my head, food on the table, and a healthy happy little boy whom I love with everything I have.”

Sprouse said she didn’t see the anonymous group, but hopes her little boy brought a smile to their face.
