Black Friday Shoppers Turn Violent Quickly At One Colorado Mall

A disturbing video captured the melee at one Colorado shopping center, where police and firefighters found two teen girls exchanging blows on the floor at 11 p.m. Thursday. It was more like “black-and-blue Friday” in malls around the country, where shoppers turned violent amid the annual buying frenzy.

The footage shows one woman splayed on the floor of the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover while crowds hold back the second woman.  She then breaks free and sends the contents of a sales table flying before an officer contains her.

The fight happened at a store called Buckle. During the fight, a shoe flew over the railing and hit a baby one level below sparking the second skirmish.

According to police, the fights were personal rather than over sales. Paramedics treated one of the women at the scene for minor injuries.

Meanwhile, a man was shot, and another stabbed during a fight outside a Houston mall Friday.

The two were arguing in a Sears parking lot when one of the men pulled out a gun and opened fire, and the second stabbed the gunman.

It was the second reported Black Friday mall shooting.

A 19-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot outside a mall in Columbia, Missouri on Thursday night.
